Laramie County has participated in the National Opioid Settlement lawsuit and as a result has received national distributor settlement payments. The Laramie County Commissioners formed an Opioid Settlement Taskforce in 2024 to focus on identifying needs, resources, solutions and services to aid Laramie County residents impacted by the opioid crisis. This taskforce has created a grant application

The Laramie County Clerk’s office acknowledges receipt of a complaint filed by the Wyoming Republican Party and candidates Ben Hornok, Clarence Styvar, Taft Love, Dallas Tyrrell, and Kathy Scigliano concerning the methodology of testing of two tabulators used to count absentee ballots.
