County Clerk announces candidate filing for school and college boards, Aug. 7 through 26
The Laramie County Clerk’s office will accept candidate applications for school and college boards of trustees beginning Weds., Aug. 7, through Mon., Aug. 26. Names of filed candidates will appear on the Nov. 5 General Election ballot.
There are three at-large positions to be filled on the Laramie County School District #1 board. Laramie County School District #2 has one trustee position for Areas C, D and F, respectively, and two positions for Area E. Four candidates will be elected to the Laramie County Community College Board of Trustees.
Candidate applications are available on the Campaign Corner of the County Clerk’s election page at www.laramiecountywy.gov or at the election office in the Laramie County Governmental Complex, 309 W 20th St., Suite 1500.
Candidates may file in person during business hours or send applications by email to election@laramiecountywy.gov, subject line Trustee Candidate [Candidate name], or fax 307-633-4240. There is no filing fee.
