Record Turnout for Early Voting

LARAMIE COUNTY, WY- Turnout on day one of early voting in Laramie County set a record yesterday as 754 voters cast ballots ahead of the November General Election.
According to Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee, the previous record, set in 2020, was 313.
Early voting continues in the atrium of the Laramie County Governmental Complex, 309 W. 20th St., through Nov. 4. The early voting polling place is open weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except for county holidays. There will be no early voting on Monday, Oct. 14, because of Columbus Day.
Three satellite early voting options are available on weekends: Sat., Oct. 12, at the Burns Plex, 327 S Main, in Burns from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and at the Albin Community Center, 430 5th Ave., in Albin from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Early voting is also available on Sun., Oct. 20, at the Laramie County Library, Cottonwood Room, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Lee said the election office mailed nearly 5300 absentee ballots to voters who have requested them. Voters who want an absentee mail ballot are urged to request one as soon as possible and allow seven days for mail delivery. Absentee requests may be made by calling (307) 633-4242, emailing election@laramiecountywy.gov, subject: Absentee [your name], or visiting the office. Voters are required to provide the name under which they are registered to vote, date of birth, residence and mailing address.
