Virtual Queue and Appointments for Titles

Virtual Queue and Appointments

We are located in Suite 1502. Queuing is available: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

We’re putting you in the driver’s seat. Laramie County Clerk’s office launched a new service May 10, 2023, to reduce the time customers spend standing in line for title services.

This allows customers to join the line, online, from their home or office, or make an appointment for services (appointments cannot be made on Mondays or Fridays).

Scan a QR code, visit the website, or use a kiosk in the Laramie County Governmental Complex. Virtually join the Titles line and save time for the things you’d rather do.

What is a title?

A certificate of title is a legal document that establishes ownership of a mobile home, motor vehicle, snowmobile, trailer, or watercraft. Information on vehicle ownership is entered into state and national databases. In Wyoming, vehicle titles are issued by the County Clerk according to the laws of Wyoming.

Transferring ownership can be a complicated process and can involve the laws of many states. Each title situation is different, and there can be many variables affecting the transfer of ownership.

The information on our website addresses the most common situations you may encounter. If you have questions, it is important to contact the County Clerk’s Titles office for guidance.

What is a vehicle registration?

Registration allows a vehicle to be driven on public roads. In Wyoming, vehicle registration and license plates are issued by the County Treasurer, who also collects vehicle sales taxes.
